Brown Bag Lunch Oct. 30th - Panel Discussion on AutismFor Immediate Release Richmond, VA (October 23, 2008)
If you´ll be in the downtown area on October 30th, please join us for a panel discussion on Autism. Panel members will include Adam Warman, an assistant director of the Faison School of Autism in Richmond and Janet Lachowsky, director of the Spiritos School in Midlothian. Learn about autism, how it is diagnosed and how it affects families. Panel members will also speak about the programs the Faison School of Autism and the Spiritos School offer that serve children and young adults who are autistic. This brown bag lunch is presented by the SunTrust, Central Virginia Diversity Council´s BankAbility Committee. Make sure to take time, before or after the discussion, to visit the SunTrust Art Gallery (on the first floor near the Main Lobby) and enjoy the colorful artwork of students from both schools to celebrate Disability Employment Awareness Month.
